| Hi journal. |

| [ | mood |
| | thirsty | ] | Wow! I haven't typed in you for a while now. :( And for that, journal, I'm sorry.
A few days ago, we learned that we may be leaving for Iraq sooner than anticipated. What was once a time in June is now late this month or early in April. ARGH. So now I have things to do, a lot, and what's worse? We might be out there for 18 months .. A YEAR AND A HALF.
Sigh, but that's what I get.
Anyway, I've been doing music, and draw, but I guess I'll have a lot more time to hone in on those skills while out there, huh? Here goes.

The most gentle horses you'll ever meet, well .. at least the one to the left. :) I got to work with these boys and a few gals on the weekends until recently, but here's a fun picture I took. :)

I'm happy again.
Granted, a fun person I worked with suggested, but she pushed and said 'You should date my daughter. You'd like her.'
Then again she only says this since it seems all three of her daughters have a knack for Half-Korean boys. ;)
I go over with her as she gives me a ride home and am surprised when I'm told I'll get to meet this young lady. Why? Well, this particular person told her mother that she found me quite cute. I didn't notice her there sadly, but am shocked I didn't.
I'll just say that I'm very honored and happy and a little blushy that someone like her would consider dating me. :)
I might post a pic later on.

[Oct. 19th, 2004|12:47 am] |
My friend said something that surprised me.
"You know, Ben. I'm beginning to think she meant to give YOU her number and not me."
Remember that lady I mentioned earlier? The one he took the number from? Yeah.
She doesn't call him, and is virtually unreachable. Huh.

Does anyone remember those silly lyrics?
One's like :
"And they be actin' dumb from the cut that playin' , People break they neck from this demonstration ."
Or
"That's the joint, that's the jam, turn that shit up and play it again."
? ? ?
Fun music. Just curious if anyone's ever heard this song. I first listened when I saw the music video . Rather crazy. Curious how they did it, too.

| Been doing more thinking |
[Sep. 14th, 2004|12:19 pm] |
About the Air Force or the military in general.
Each branch has its ups and downs.
The Coast Guard, and the Air Force seem to have my attention at the moment. Sigh. I don't even know why. Oh well.
I have to drop more weight. And it seems I won't be out of here until December. That's just too damn long.

| In lighter news. |
[Sep. 11th, 2004|12:28 am] |
I checked my weight.
When I first went into the recruiting office. I was weighed in at 232 lbs.
According to the scale in the bathroom here .. after only 10 days of controlling my eatings.. I've dropped to 218.
218! 14 pounds in only 10 days! At this rate, I'll be beneath the 205 limit before October 1st.

| [ | mood |
| | depressed | ] | Two ladies essentially said this when I told them my age:
"Really?! I thought you were 17!"
That's a nice compliment, if I say so myself.
In other news, I'm rather lonely these days. You know, the whole 'I'd like some companionship or at least a young lady to hold or be held by.' thing.
It didn't help that my friend had a girl visit today. She stayed for the entire time I was at work. He left with her to take her back to her home three minutes before I arrived.
Maybe things will get better, if I wait long enough.

I guess I have more natural talent in me than I thought.
Leafing through the book, it says with the Japanese words, you pronounce the letters and such evenly.
For example.
watakushi wa
If we pronounce it in the English standard of spacing, it'd sound like wa ta kushi wa. But according to the book, Japanese spacing makes it like wa ta ku shi wa.
Based on how I initially said it upon reading it, I nailed the Japanese sense to the T.
Quite nifty.

This room has two books. The one in my lap contains about 330+ pages describing how to read, speak, pronounce, and write the language. This will be cute.

I finally was able to speak with the Wolf lately.
That was a delightful, and mood-lightening time.
I hope to spend a moment with him again.
In other news:
Did you know those dog-tag machines you see at Wal*Mart, Pets*Mart, or any pet place run through Windows 3.1 ? Nifty, no?
Did you know those PDA type things those people in Red Vests at Wal*Mart carry are running some version of Windows 2000?
Did you know it's silly to hear people complain about children when they have five of their own, or complain about being fat when they're stuffing their face while doing so?
Oh well.

| Huh. |
[Aug. 23rd, 2004|02:28 pm] |
Some people just suck.
There, I said it.
I'm tired of fat women making jokes at me, when the word 'Diet' would most likely have them trying to tear me in half (if they could get to me without the aid of an electric wheelchair).
Freakin' Utah sucks.

Things are going nice at this new place of living. I just wish my hours at work would cooperate so I could talk to a certain Wolf who I haven't been able to. Oh well, it's saddening to me not being able to chat with him, as it's usually fun to talk and discuss how my real life is going to him, but I understand he's busy with housing of his own.
Oh well, time to hit the hay, and prepare for another horrible day of work.
Night.
